What is a virtual race?

A virtual race is a flexible race that you can complete on your own schedule from any location. Choose when and where to complete your miles, submit your results online, and celebrate your accomplishment with authentic race swag.

What activities count toward my virtual race?

Anything that gets you moving can count toward your virtual race. When entering your results, you can choose from running, jogging, biking, swimming, hiking, walking, or select “other” for any additional activity. The possibilities are endless, so you can complete your miles in the way that works best for you.

Do I have to complete all of my miles at once?

No. You can complete your race distance in one activity or break it into multiple activities. For longer distance challenges, you can continue adding your miles as you work toward your goal.

Do I have to wait until I receive my race package to start?

No. You can start completing and logging your miles whenever you are ready. You do not need to wait for your race package to arrive. It is your race, on your own time.

How do I log my miles or race time?

To log your results, find the Enter My Time button within the Virtual Races section of our website. On desktop, hover over Virtual Races in the top navigation menu. On mobile, open the menu and select Virtual Races. Once in the Enter My Time collection, choose your race, click Enter My Time and then sign in to your account or continue as a guest. From there, you can manually enter your results or upload an activity through one of our partners, including Strava, Fitbit, or Garmin.

Do I need to create an account to enter my results?

No. You can sign in to your account or continue as a guest when submitting your miles or race time.

Can I manually enter my results?

Yes. When entering your results manually, you can submit your distance and the time it took you to complete those miles.

Is it possible to enter my miles in bulk?

Entering your miles in bulk means manually submitting the total distance you have completed and the total amount of time it took you to complete those miles. For example, if you completed several activities but have not entered them yet, you can manually enter your combined distance and completion time as one entry.

Can I enter my miles in bulk through Strava, Fitbit, or Garmin?

No. Bulk entries can only be submitted manually. When uploading activities through Strava, Fitbit, or Garmin, each individual activity must be uploaded as its own entry.

Should I log my miles after every activity?

You can log each activity as you complete it, especially when participating in a longer distance challenge. Each new submission will be added to your total. You can also manually enter multiple completed miles together as a bulk entry.

Can I submit more than one entry?

Yes. You can submit multiple activities over time. Your first submission will appear as your starting entry, and each additional submission will be added to your accumulated mileage total.

What information will appear on the Race Recap Page?

Your Race Recap Page entry will show your display name, activity of choice, total accumulated miles, the number of entries you have submitted, the date range of your activities, your average pace, your total time, and you can add any comments about the event.

How are entries sorted on the Race Recap Page?

Entries are automatically sorted based on the date of each participant’s first submitted activity. If you do not immediately see your name, you can use the search feature to quickly find your entry.

How can I find my name easily on the Race Recap Page?

Use the search bar on the Race Recap Page to look up your name. This will pull up your entry so you can easily view your submitted activities and track your progress.

Why are my miles not being added to my existing total?

Please make sure you use the same email address each time you submit your results. This allows your additional miles to be added to your accumulated total instead of creating a separate entry.

I purchased a virtual race for my friend and me. How can they log their miles?

Anyone can submit their results on the Race Recap Page, even if they did not personally purchase the race. Your friend can click the Enter My Time button, sign in or continue as a guest, and enter their own miles or race time.

Where can I complete my virtual race?

You can complete your virtual race wherever it works best for you, whether that is outside, on a treadmill, around your neighborhood, at a local park, or along your favorite running route. It is your race, at your pace.

Do the milestone tokens or charms come with the medal?

It depends on the race package you select. If your race is a distance challenge that includes milestone tokens or charms, they will be included in your initial race package. You can add each one to your medal as you reach the corresponding milestone.

Will my entire race package ship together?

Yes. You will receive the complete package associated with the race option you selected. For challenges that include milestone tokens or charms, you will receive them with your initial package so they are ready to add to your medal as you accomplish your goals.

What should I do if I have trouble logging my miles?
